We live in "South North County" so some of my business recommendations reflect that. This is only who I use and recommend. Holistic Esthetician
Shop Good in North Park & One Paseo - The best non-toxic custom facials. Try their add-ons, I love the buccal massage, extra massage, and oxygen dome. I see Giselle & Devin at One Paseo.
Makeup Artist
Claire Elyse Makeup - My #1 recommendation. I've used her for special occasions, our wedding, baby showers, and family pictures. She comes to you.

Alma Mae Lott - The best for special events! I've used her for special occasions, our wedding, baby showers, and family pictures. She comes to you and has a team of people now.
IPL/Microneedling
Alcheme Health in Del Mar - I've done two IPLs and 3 microneedling sessions at Alcheme and I saw big differences in my skin, especially with IPL. It gets rid of dark spots & lots of freckles for me.
Nails
After spending countless hours getting my nailed "fixed" at the low-tox salon after they chipped after 2 days, I've given up on non-toxic gel. When I get my nails done, I go to Carmel Valley Nail Lounge. It's a standard salon but has a few features that make me go back. It's very spacious and they always have doors open so the fumes never bother me. They offer lower-tox nail polishes that I always opt for when doing regular polish. This is one of my only non-low-tox habits that I like to do. I bring my own lotion and have them use that instead of using any of theirs.
If you just need a pedicure or aren't worried about your nails lasting a long time, then I do love the concept of Paint Nails in Encinitas. It's all low-tox, no fumes, no drilling.
For other nail salons, look for brands like Dazzle Dry and Zoya, they are safer nail polishes.
HEALTH
Dentist
Advanced Holistic Dentistry,- Dr. Jeffrey Kerbs in Escondido. Best holistic dentist I've seen. Me and the boys all go.
Myofascial PT
Oral Posture - Jenae Ciuffreda in Escondido. I've seen her and so have my kids for thumb sucking, tongue thrusting and for TMJ for me.
Naturopath
Dr. Tarabrina at Del Mar Integrative - She is my primary care doctor.
Pediatrician
My favorite pediatrician is now concierge and only in North County, he is Colibri Pediatrics.
I don't recommend where we go now and luckily we only go about once a year.
Midwife

Postpartum Doula
Savannah Lamb - an actual angel on this earth. She makes incredible nourishing meals, holds your baby so you can take a minute, does ayuverdic massage & more. and I wish every Mom could experience her care.

Dr. Teresa Crossley in Miramar. Where we go for monthly maintenance. Favorite chiro I've ever seen.
Craniopath
Dr. Rachel Hamel in Sorrento Valley. Where we go for specialized care. I see her for TMJ, boys see her for acute issues.
Acupuncture/Energy Work
Jackie Marino in Encinitas - I've seen many a "healer" in my day and she stands out as the most grounded, facilitating a safe space, and effective.
Thermography
San Diego Thermography in Sorrento Valley - a non-invasive, zero radiation alternative to a mammogram. You can scan your whole body.
Lymphatic Drainage
Miss Lymph in Del Mar - I aim for once a month to help my body fully detox. I'm trying a new place next week, stay tuned.
Massage
I don't have a super great recommendation for this. Massages have fallen off as I've prioritized lymphatic massages. I will be trying Bird Rock Massage in Clairemont. I hear really good things.
EMDR Therapy
Dr. Jen Cory in Encinitas. Wonderful mix of all her psychology knowledge, holistic and spiritual knowledge

Jenna Gilmer - I recently used her for my updated headshots and lifestyle pictures, highly recommend.
Gina Moore Photo - she only does white backdrop photos out of her room. She did family pictures for us and I loved them.
Sofia Ann Photo- she releases "fall mini" dates in pretty locations around town and they book up quickly. She is awesome for family pictures, engagements, and weddings.
Garden Consulting
Kristina Turner - I bought a tower garden through her a few years ago and she has answered my 1800 questions about it. She has an incredible farm and garden and now is offering gardening consulting services. She also teaches sourdough workshops.
